Once you log in, go to school store and look for the carton of milk. Snack milk lists of students who have "paid" will be given to teachers Monday, August 18th. Only students whose parents have paid for snack milk will receive it. 1st semester snack milk will completely shut off for the district on Friday, August 22nd @ 4:00 pm. Calling all 5th Graders!
Join Stratford’s Safety Patrol Team and help keep our school safe! As a member, you’ll be a role model for other students while assisting with hallway and crosswalk safety (always with an adult). This is a great way to show leadership, responsibility, and school spirit.
A permission slip was sent home with your 5th grader—please return it to Mrs. Flynn by August 29th. Safety Patrol training will be held on September 2nd during school hours (1:00-1:30.) Attendance is required to participate, and duties will begin on September 8th.
If you have any questions, email Mrs. Flynn at jenniferflynn@bennps.org. Sign up today and be part of the team that helps everyone start and end their day safely!

Communication is key. Please be sure you are notifying the office staff by either calling 402-238-2941 or emailing Kwitt@bennps.org, LWest@bennps.org and your teacher(s) that your child(ren) will be out sick or gone for the day. One email to all of us is perfect.
If you're just running late or your student is coming in after an appointment, we would like to know. We just want to make sure all of our Stratford stars are accounted for.
In deciding whether your child should come to school, please keep the following guidelines in mind.
Any child with these symptoms should NOT come to school:
-
Fever of 100 or higher; children should not return to school until fever-free for 24 hours without the use of medication
- Vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours
Thank you for your help in keeping our students and staff healthy!

We have truly enjoyed welcoming all the parents/grandparents who have joined their children/grandchildren for lunch at our school. As our school continues to grow, we are closely monitoring our lunch capacity, and we may need to limit visits in the future due to increasing student numbers. To ensure we can accommodate everyone, we kindly ask that you call ahead.
Please remember to let the office know if you plan on eating a hot or alternate lunch with your child so we can inform the kitchen staff. The cost of an adult lunch is $4.90, and we ask that you bring exact change. If you don't have exact amount, any remaining change will be added to your child's MySchoolBucks lunch account. Please note that you cannot pay for your meal with your child's lunch number. You are welcome to bring a cold lunch from home, but please refrain from bringing fast food—save that for evening meals. Your child can only bring ONE friend to join you at the visitor's table.
Stratford's lunch times are as follows:
Kindergarten: 11:00-11:30
Second Grade: 11:30-12:00
First Grade: 11:45-12:15
**Fourth Grade: 12:00-12:30
**Third Grade: 12:15-12:45
Fifth Grade: 12:30-1:00
**Due to Cafeteria Capacity, 3rd and 4th grade visitors may be seated in a conference room.**

As much fun as it is to have your dogs walk with you to pick up your children, we ask that you kindly leave the family's favorite friend at home. With safety issues of allergies, bites, etc, we have to watch out for our entire SE family. Someone's best friend may be another's biggest fear. Pets who ride in the car are fine.
